This lesson encourages students to bring in boxes of rice for the Norwood Food Pantry. Please have a student bring these donations to Guidance. There will be boxes/bins available. Also, please have students write the name of their advisor on each box so we can determine which group has the most. The winning group will be treated to breakfast during next advisory.

Handout - Benefits of a part-time job & an excerpt from a work permit (...or you can make one copy and use this as a reference. Whatever you think works best.)

Advisory Survey for Students - please collect and return to Guidance (thanks!)
This is the final meeting with your Advisory so this is more of a wrap-up session. Some suggestions:
- Bring food or allow the students to bring in food
- Ask them about their junior year. What would they do differently next year? What was the biggest lesson they learned this year? Favorite classes? Favorite extra-curricular activities? What are they excited about for senior year?
- Play "Heads Up" with them - this game can be downloaded to your iPhone (if you have one). It's the popular game from Ellen's TV show and the students usually enjoy playing it. You can have groups go against each other.
