The Public Health Departments of Dedham, Needham, Norwood, and Westwood are working collaboratively across our region to enhance youth health and safety.
Parents play a vital role in guiding teens to navigate away from the high-risk situations that can occur during the spring prom and graduation season. Talking to your teen about the health harms of alcohol is a strong protective factor in a teens’ decision not to use alcohol.
To learn strategies to talk to your teen we invite you to login to the 20-minute alcohol prevention course, AlcoholEdu for High School Parents. This free, online course corresponds with the alcohol education course administrated in many of our high school students health classes.
Please click on the link below to take the 20-minute course and feel free to share the flyer with your family and friends to enhance the health and safety of all of our teens.
