Balch Elementary School

The core mission of the Balch School is to insure that all students achieve at high levels and are well prepared as they further pursue their education. To this end, our teachers continue to investigate new strategies and ideas with professional development opportunities offered by Norwood Public Schools as well as those offered by local colleges and universities. Our School Council meets regularly to develop annual school improvement goals and work toward their completion. Our Parent Teacher Organization supports a variety of enrichment activities for all of our students. It is this collaboration of school and home that makes the Balch School a special place to learn.
