The Norwood Public Schools elementary music program provides general and instrumental instruction during the school day. There are several assemblies throughout the year which provide opportunities for the students to perform.

Elementary School Performance Schedule

General music is taught twice a week in grades 1-5 by our music specialist.  In the third grade students are given the opportunity to start violin, as well as having recorder lessons in the classroom.  Instruction on all band and orchestra instruments is offered in the fourth grade and continued in the fifth.
