JUNE 25, 2013 LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - DISMISSAL @ 11:00 A.M.

Friday. June 21, Mr. McDonough and coaches from the high school will meet with 8th graders at 7:20 a.m. in the gym. The 8th graders will have to report to homeroom for attendance after the meeting. They will be late for 1st period class.
To All 8th Grade Boys and Girls who are interested in playing basketball at the high school next year - There will be a brief meeting in the gym tomorrow after school.
All Wellness classes will report to the gym. You will need your sneakers.
If you have not passed in your Travel Poster project, it is now late. Wednesday is the last day to hand in your poster and bibliography to Mrs. McGill.
Reminder to all band and orchestra students that all school owned instruments must be returned this week.
End of the school pool party will be hosted by the Norwood Recreation Department on June 25th at Hawes Pool from the end of school until 5:00 p.m. The cost is $5. School ID's and bathing suits are required.
We had a random drawing for one person to receive a Character Counts coupon this month for free passes to Laser Tag! Kevin Linehan, you have won two passes! Thank you for your kind act. Please see Miss Siegel for your passes!
SEARCH Students - Your costumes are overdue! Please bring them to Mrs. Lane in room 101.
Are you ready to spike serve and dig??? Any student interested in learning how to play volleyball or any student interested in playing volleyball next year at the high school - There will be a volleyball clinic at the high school this summer for boys and girls. There will be forms in the main office or come see Mr. Nimblett for more information or a registration form.
If a student comes in to school late or is being dismissed the student must stop in the office before leaving or going to class. For dismissals the student MUST have a note from their parent or guardian.
If your child is going to be absent/tardy from school, please call the sick line at 781-762-7880, press 1, and leave your child's name, grade and homeroom.
If a student is on crutches they MUST have a note from their doctor stating they are to be on crutches.
Students - No perfumes, body sprays or hair sprays are allowed in the Coakley Middle School due to students with alergies. These items will be confiscated and NOT returned to you.
THE FOLLOWING BUS RULES ARE NOW IN PLACE: Anyone without a bus pass cannot ride a bus; Sudents must ride the bus they are assigned to - no notes will be accepted to ride on a friend's bus; students must ride the late bus they are assigned. If you have not received a bus pass and your parents have paid for it, please have your parents call the Transportation Department at the Savage Center, 781-440-5831.
Attention Students - Students will not be allowed in the library before 7:15 a.m. unless they have a library pass. Students can get a library pass from Mrs. McGill the day before. Library passes must be given to a teacher in either the gym or cafeteria before homeroom in order for them to go to the library.
Students - Please be reminded to stay off of the railroad tracks. Officer Mahoney and others will be watching.
The CMS homework club has started. If you would like to stay after school in a quiet place to do your assignments, please sign up in the office. The homework club will be available Monday-Thursday for the first 26 students who sign up. Please note - If you don't sign up in advance you can NOT attend. Check the signup for the location each day as homework club will NOT be in the library.
