How is Norwood Doing?
The following slides on the 2011 MCAS link below were part of a School Committee presentation made by Dr. Alexander Wyeth, Assistant Superintendent, on October 12, 2011. Based on the 2011 MCAS results, the presentation highlights some specific areas, most notably writing, mathematics, and physical science, that will be targeted by the administration for further improvement over the next couple of years. Other data sources are also taken into consideration, especially in reviewing and updating each school's improvement plan (see each school website for their improvement plans).
