Drawing and Painting IVC
Homework Assignments 2010-2011
Overview: Each week there is a topic for you to draw. For each topic, you are to complete 5 drawing that should take about 20 minutes for each drawing (feel free to work longer) or complete one drawing that takes approximately 1 hour. For weeks with less than rather five days in the week, you need to complete the number of drawings indicated.
Requirements: All of the drawings must be completed in your sketchbook, but you can be creative about how you use the pages of the sketchbook (you can put multiple sketches on the page, you can overlap drawings, think creatively). Drawings should be completed in chronological order (The title page is the first page, the next page starts week 2, etc). Mark sure that you clearly write your name on the cover of your sketchbook. MOST DRAWINGS SHOULD BE COMPLETED FROM OBSERVATION. Apply the skills that you learn in class. The assignments vary, so your interpretation can vary. The same object can be used, you just have to render it differently.
Drawings should be worked on the week prior to due date.
