Un viaje a Chile….
¡Felicitaciones! On your Spanish teacher’s recommendation, you have been selected to participate in a study abroad program this summer! Before leaving you will receive a survival kit which includes helpful information about Chile and some fun vocabulary related to vacation activities and summer fun, along with a preterite and imperfect tense review sheets. You must use this vocabulary to write 5 post cards home to your family telling them (madre, padre, hermano, hermana, tío, etc) all about your vacation! Use as much vocabulary as possible and be sure it is appropriate for each place you visit (for example, don’t say that you are going to sunbathe if you are hiking a snow covered mountain…) Be sure you also use the preterite tense as well as the imperfect to write your post cards. After completing this packet, make sure to go to http://spanish3summerwork.wikispaces.com to complete the postcards and comprehension exercises.
Enclosed in your survival kit is a short story for you to read on the plane.
