Preschool Staff

Classroom Staff

The Norwood Public Schools is committed to hiring educators of the highest quality.  Each classroom is staffed with one licensed teacher certified in early childhood development/special education as well as two highly qualified educational assistants. Each of our teachers and aides has been CPR trained and many have had trainings regarding ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and data collection.

Specialists

We have board certified Speech and Language, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists, on staff. Each of these specialists provides services for our children with special needs, and also consults with our classroom teachers and facilitates whole group activities to ensure the growth and development of all our students. In addition, we have a board certified Behavior Specialist on staff who consults with teachers on behavior management issues as well as helps facilitate the ABA component of our program. In addition we have an ABA therapist who focus on behavioral intervention, primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Nursing

The Little Mustangs Preschool Academy also has a full-time nurse on staff, who is available to consult with families and teachers about medical conditions and allergies.  She also promotes overall health and wellness for all students in our school.
