Visual Arts

The NPS elementary visual art program begins in 1st grade, and is a comprehensive, sequential curriculum based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and taught by visual art specialists. Through the study and creation of visual art, students improve their fine motor skills and develop critical and creative thinking habits.  Skills explored and developed include drawing, painting, 3D, design, and printmaking.
