Myev Bodenhofer

Myev Bodenhofer is an electrical engineer with 20+ years of experience working in the private sector. She holds a BS in physics and an MS in electrical engineering, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently the Engineering Manager at Newgrange Design in Wakefield, MA, Myev has experience with project management and supervising small teams. In addition to her engineering work, she has taught several classes in electronics and math.

Myev and her husband have two children, currently in 8th grade and 11th grade, who have both been in the Norwood Public Schools since kindergarten. Before her election to the School Committee in 2016, Myev served on the School Council for the Coakley Middle School and previously volunteered as the enrichment coordinator for both the Prescott School and Coakley Middle School.

Since moving to Norwood in 2001, Myev has volunteered in several different capacities, including work with the Norwood Ecumenical Food Pantry and Norwood Youth Soccer. She is currently a Town Meeting Member and an active volunteer at St. Timothy Catholic Church.
