Hello, my name is Mrs. Harding. I will be your 6th grade science teacher. I hope you all had a relaxing and adventurous summer! I enjoyed visiting Cape Cod Massachusetts and Perkins Cove in Maine. I had a wonderful time walking on our local beaches and hiking in some of our great State Parks. I even had an opportunity to get some kayaking and canoeing in on our local rivers and ponds. It was also a wonderful time to catch up on my summer reading.

We have so much exciting science to explore this year! We will begin the year with Science & Technology, revisiting lab safety, SI units of measurement and the steps of the scientific method. We will transition into Earth Science,where we develop an understanding of Earth's surface, topography and fossils! We will end the year with Life Science, where we will explore living organisms and cell structures. We have an exciting year ahead with investigations and explorations of new information in science.
