About Me

Hello! My name is Karyn Manning. It is my pleasure to be teaching your child this year. Second grade is an exiting time. The children are taking on more responsibility and learning how to be independent learners. I feel it is my job to guide them, while providing a safe, comfortable and fun environment. It is my hope that I help each of them feel good about themselves and about coming to school.

Some facts about me.... :)

• I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.
• I absolutely love the second grade curriculum, so many fun things to learn.
• I love this age. They are little "sponges" ready to soak up so much knowledge. It is exciting to watch.
• My family and I live in Dedham.
• I have a son and a daughter. Both of them are in college this year, so my house is a little quieter than usual.
