New Enrollments:

If you are new to Norwood and live within the boundaries of the Callahan School, please visit this webpage to begin your enrollment. Central registration is located at the Savage Center (275 Prospect Street) in Norwood.

Bus Transportation:

In order to ride the bus in the Fall, students must enroll and receive a bus pass. Information for bus enrollment can be found here.

Extended Day:

There is an extended day program that is housed at the Callahan School. Enrollments, waitlist management, and payment are all handled through the Norwood Extended Day Program, not the Callahan School.

2026-2027 School Year:

The first day of school for students is Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The Callahan School hours are 7:50am-2:05pm. Students are able to arrive at the Callahan School under the supervision of Callahan staff starting at 7:35am each morning.

Class Placements:

Families will receive notification of their child(ren)’s classroom placement via a letter sent home the week of August 3, 2026. If you do not receive a letter by the week of August 10, 2026, please contact the Callahan School at 781-762- 0693.
