The annual Books and Beyond Reading Challenge kicked off this week. Students in Fourth and Fifth Grade have the opportunity to read up to eleven titles in this year's challenge. If a student reads at least four books, they can vote for their favorite title to win the Cleveland School Readers Award.

Cartoonist and middle grade author Maria Scrivan spoke with Grades 3-5 students this week about writing, her graphic novel series, Nat Enough and the importance of not giving up. The author visit was faciliated by the PTO.
