About the Library

Welcome to the Coakley Middle School Library!

The Library is the information center of our school and located in the center of the building.  This year we are also hosting Mrs. Panico's Spanish Classes which means some adjustments to the when the library is available for use.  Students can visit the library to check out books first thing in the morning from 7-7:30am and during Block 7 and at the end of the day until 2:30pm.  During class time teachers can email Mrs. Duca Johnson (Mrs.DJ) to see if it is okay to send students down to print, get a book, etc.

Also new this year is that Chromebooks in need of repair are brought to the library where Mrs. DJ enters the repair ticket and issues loaner chromebooks on a first come first serve basis.  We have 50 loaner chromebooks housed in the library however, that is not alway enough for each person who has a chromebook in need of repair.  All classrooms should also have loaner chromebooks to offset these situations.  Thank you in advance for your patience as we work to stream line things as best we can.

Take a Virtual Tour to find where things are in the library.

Meet the Librarian and find out how she can help you!

Learn more about how to borrow books, even if the librarian is not available to help at that moment.
