Norwood High School Parent/Guardian Teacher Organization
NHS Parent/Guardian Info Guide
On behalf of the Norwood High School Parent Teacher Organization, welcome to the 2024/2025 school year!
The NHS PTO is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the students and staff of Norwood High School. We provide support for educational and recreational programs, and promote open communication between the administration, teachers, and parents.
The PTO funds activities and programs to enhance the school experience, and provide much needed support, such as:
- Teacher grants to support classroom projects
- In-school assemblies with guest speakers
- PTO Scholarships for graduating seniors
- Teacher and staff appreciation
- Caring Heart Awards for teachers/staff who go above and beyond for our children
- Academic Awards Banquet
We do a lot of good things, and our mission is to help our NHS community. We thoughtfully fundraise and have PTO member dues to help make programs happen.
PTO dues are $25 per family and voluntary. We welcome any additional contributions to the PTO in the “Spirit of Giving” if you would like to donate. Contributions are tax deductible. (NHS PTO Tax ID # 45-5049411)
