8:40-9:40 - Table Tops/Free Choice
- fine motor, thematic games, turn taking activities.
Always open: Playdough ,blocks and dramatic play
9:40-10:00- Clean up, Bathroom/Handwashing
- Activities of daily living, transitions, hallway expectations, putting away classroom materials
10:00-10:25- Morning Circle
- Name recognition, phonemic awareness,body/sesory regulation, turn- taking, social pragmatics, gross motor imitation, and attention to task.
10:25 -10:40 - Snack
- Approriate table behavior, social pragmatics.
- Book Look/ Rug Boxes
- Transition to rug for independent or adult facilitated exploration of books in classroom library or working together in small groups with manipulatives.
10:40-10:45 - Music and Movement song and fingerplays
10:45-11:00 - Stories or Poems
11:00-11:25 - Gross Motor
- Outside on the playground structures or in the gym
11:30-11:55 - Centers
- The activities and/or materials are rotated to reflect the changing curriculum and to accommodate the varying skill levels and interests of each child.
11:55-12:30/ 12:30-12:50 - Bathroom/ Lunch/ Rest Time
- Activities of daily living, transitions, hallway expectations, approriate table behavior, social pragmatics and rest.
12:50-1:00 - Clean up and Folders
- Management of personal and classroom property/items.
1:00-1:20 - Gross Motor or Free Play
1:20-1:30 - Closing Circle and Dismissal
