We are so thrilled to share some exciting news regarding important senior year items and deadlines! Please review the information below carefully, as it contains information regarding Senior Portraits, Yearbook Purchasing, Family Yearbook Advertisements, and more. We also have a Senior Portrait session scheduled for November 7th in the NHS library with  Legacy Studios. If you would like to schedule a portrait session, click here! Senior Portraits Due by December 1st :Seniors have TWO options for taking their senior portraits. The process for submitting senior portraits will depend on which option you choose.  If you do not submit a Senior Portrait, the Yearbook Staff will be using your school photo from picture day as your portrait. Senior Portrait Guidelines: Regardless of which option you choose for taking your senior portrait, ALL senior portraits must adhere to the following guidelines:Portrait choices must be vertical shots or a waist-up shot. Students should be wearing appropriate dress, with no hats or hoods. Portrait submission MUST be renamed before uploading. Use the following format: STUDENTLASTNAME_STUDENTFIRSTNAME File must be JPEG or PNG, 1mb - 15mb. Upload the highest resolution version of the image.

No studio logo or name is imprinted on the front of your photograph. Independent Photographer: The first option is to have portraits taken by an independent photographer. If you choose this process, you or the photographer will need to submit the senior portrait using the following process: Rename the photo file to: STUDENTLASTNAME_STUDENTFIRSTNAME

Upload the senior portrait you would like to have printed in the yearbook to Yearbook Snap. Use the code “mustangs” and select the photo topic “Senior Portrait.” Legacy Studios: The second option is to have portraits taken with the school’s photography company, Legacy Studios. If you choose this process, you will submit the senior portrait using the following process: After the portrait session, Legacy Studios will email you a link to access your image gallery within 8 - 10 business days. Using this link, you will be able to review your portraits and select your preferred yearbook pose until the deadline on November 18th. Photographers may have seniors select their yearbook photo before leaving the session. The image you select as your “Yearbook Pose” will be sent directly to the yearbook advisor, so you do not need to submit the image yourself NOTE: Students and families in need of financial assistance may select the $25 refundable sitting fee. This allows your senior to have professional portraits taken at no cost. If you have questions or require additional financial assistance,  please reach out to Ms. Leavitt directly.  

Yearbook Purchasing: Yearbook purchasing for 2026 opens on October 31st. Visit yearbookforever.com to purchase your copy of the yearbook. The cost starts at $70. Prices will increase to $80 on 1/5/26. Prices will increase again to $90 on 5/4/26, so buy your copy NOW!

Family Ads Due by February 11th: Any parents/guardians, family, or friends wishing to include a graduation announcement or a personalized message for any student can purchase space in the yearbook.  Payment and ad creation can be completed online through the Walsworth website, yearbookforever.com. No advertisements will be accepted after 2/11/26 or until space fills, whichever comes first. To purchase, go to https://yearbookforever.com/ and search for Norwood High School. Select the ad size you wish to purchase. You can either design your own ad or have the Yearbook Staff design it for you. Pricing: ½ page: $80; ¼ page: $40

Baby Pictures DUE December 15: We are collecting baby photos of the Class of 2026, specifically from infancy to early childhood! To submit your baby photo, please visit Yearbook Snap to upload your image, then select the photo topic “Baby Pictures.” Please select images that clearly show the student’s face. To submit your baby photos, please visit Yearbook Snap, use the code “mustangs” and select the photo topic “Baby Pictures.” Please rename photo file to: STUDENTLASTNAME_STUDENTFIRSTNAME

Throwback Photos DUE December 15: We are collecting images of the Class of 2026 from elementary to middle school! You can submit pictures of individual students or group pictures.  Students and families can upload as many photos as they would like.  However, we cannot promise that all photos will be included, depending on the volume of pictures we receive.To submit throwback photos, please visit Yearbook Snap to upload your images, then select the photo topic “Throwback Photos.”
