World of Owls: Wingmasters Enrichment Program

The World of Owls, tied nicely into the science curriculum which explores various animals, both predators and prey. The assemblies showed how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the dark explained the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live owls provided the focus of the program which gave the students an up close experience with these amazing birds.
