Prescott Summer Information

Prescott Summer Information

Thank you for stopping by the Summer Resource Page. Below you will find information that may be helpful as you prepare for the 2020-2021 school year.

Summer Enrollment: If you are new to the Norwood Public Schools and will be enrolling for the 2020-2021 school year, we do offer summer enrollment this year! It's critical that you enroll as soon as you move to Norwood so we are prepared for the fall. Please reach out to briley@norwood.k12.ma.us for more information on how and when to enroll. To be prepared, please visit the NPS Enrollment Page to gather the necessary documents.

Bus TransportationBus pass registration and fee collection is not handled at the local school. You may visit the NPS Transportation web page to learn about how to enroll and the fees associated with riding the bus. Superintendent Thomson has extended the enrollment period to July 14, 2020. Questions can be answered by calling 781-440-5831.

Extended Day: If you are interested in getting before school or after school extended day childcare, please visit the Extended Day website. Enrollments, payments and questions should be directed to the director, Kris Capezio (kcapezio@norwood.k12.ma.us). Fees, enrollment forms and contact information are listed on the website linked above.

Summer Meals: Meals will continue to be served at the Prescott from 11am-1pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday over the summer. No meals will be served Friday July 3 due to the holiday. Meals (lunch and breakfast) can be picked up by utilizing the front circle at Door #1.

Chromebook Issues: If your child has borrowed a Chromebook and they are having challenges, please reach out to Principal Riley at briley@norwood.k12.ma.us to determine a solution.

Class and Supply Lists: Class placements (1st-5th) will be mailed home to families in August. Mailings will include your child's assigned teacher for the next year and the supply list. We are hoping to have supply lists up on this site mid July so families can prepare.

School Year Meals: If you would like to get ahead of the game and add money to your child's MySchool Bucks account you may do so. This will allow your child to enter their lunch code (student ID) at the point of sale and have a cash-free transaction. To find your child's lunch code, please visit the Aspen portal.

Report Cards: If you are trying to access your child's report card, please visit the Aspen Student Information System. Information on how to login and access various documents can be found here. If you have additional questions on Aspen access, please reach out to the email address listed on the site.
