Birthday Celebrations

According to the Balch School Wellness Policy, we do not allow any food items to be brought into school for birthday celebrations.

Some ideas for non-food birthday celebrations are...

1. Donate a book in your child's name for our classroom library.
2. Send in your child's favorite book for read-aloud...perhaps a parent or special relative could come in and read to the class!  (Please contact me ahead of time to plan an appropriate time.)
3. Send in a favorite board game for your child to share on his/ her special day.
4. Send in a white t-shirt for classmates to write b-day wishes on as a keepsake.
5. Send in a small gift/ goody bag for each student.
