Curriculum and Homework
Each week students will be assigned practice from their method book: Measures of Success.
Students should also ALWAYS be working on the warm up sheet and their band music. Those are weekly assignments that will not change. Each student has received an invitation to their band's google classroom page. Please join and follow the assignments. Practice journals should be entered the night before each lesson:
Every student has a practice journal stapled to the front cover of their book. The practice requirement is 5 days per week for 20-25 minutes each day. Practice journals should be filled in on google classroom and uploaded each week. Failure to complete the practice assignment three weeks in a row will result in the loss of a recess and a phone call home.
Preparation is essential for success! To be prepared for class you MUST have:
- 5th Grade: Measures of Success book, Music Folder, Instrument, Pencil, and a positive attitude.
- 4th Grade: Measures of Success book, Music Folder, Instrument, Pencil, and a positive attitude.
