About Me

The start of the 2020-2021 school year marks my fourteenth year of working as an early childhood Speech-Language Pathologist in the Norwood Public Schools. Before I joined the Willett and LMPA teams, I worked for seven years at a local Early Intervention program. My experience working in EI has provided me with a strong background in child development, upon which I am constantly drawing for guidance in my work with preschoolers here at LMPA

I love working with such young, energetic, and curious little learners. Every day I am inspired by the strength and resilience demonstrated by these little ones, many of whom are faced with numerous challenges related to their disabilities. Their ability to smile, laugh, and play through it all reminds me about the importance of having persistence and a positive attitude.

One of the other aspects of my job that I also love is having the opportunity to get to know the families of my students. So please, keep in touch! Open communication between home and school is essential. I hope to use this website as an opportunity to share ideas and activities that families can use at home to further their children's speech and language learning.
