The Norwood Public Schools mourns the loss of Former Superintendent of Schools, James R. Savage Sr. who passed away on October 25th . Jim Savage, whose tenure spanned many years, served as a math teacher, coach, middle school principal and superintendent of schools for 10 years. His contributions to the education of students in Norwood live on in the sound programs and energetic teaching staff who carry on today. Flags were lowered at all Norwood Public Schools today as we mourn the loss of a dear friend, highly respected leader and colleague.
