Norwood Public Schools engaged Mass Insight Education & Research to conduct an equity audit of the district  to understand current strengths and challenges relative to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students, families, and staff. Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, Mass Insight collected data, information, and perspectives from across the Norwood community through surveys, interviews, data analysis, and systems evaluations, and then presented its findings to the district. As part of our partnership, McLean staff will facilitate four workshops intended to support parents and guardians. Workshop Title: Helping Your Child Tolerate Distress Description: This parent/guardian workshop by the McLean School Consultation Service will help to provide strategies to help your child tolerate moments and periods of distress. You will leave this workshop with more tools for helping your child approach difficult situations.
