Norwood High School
Graduation Information
Hello Mustang families,
After careful consideration of the forecast for Sunday’s weather, we will be holding the 2016 Graduation Ceremony indoors in the Norwood High School gymnasium at 1pm on Sunday, June 5th. We looked at a variety of other options including moving the date or start time in order to allow the maximum number of guests to view the ceremony outside, but that would not be feasible given the busy schedules of our students, families, and staff. Please review the following important information for the graduating class of 2016.
Tickets & Seating - With the graduation ceremony being held in the gymnasium, students will be provided two blue tickets for guests to view the ceremony in the gym. Students will have three additional yellow tickets to allow guests to view the ceremony in the auditorium, which will be simultaneously broadcast by NPA TV. The auditorium will be air conditioned, and has more handicap accessible seating than the gymnasium. The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on NPA TV and simulcast on NPA’s website. Please make whatever viewing choices work best for your family.
I understand that this is a very special event for our students, and that relatives make great efforts to attend our graduation. I ask that you please recognize the constraints we have for seating, and cooperate with my staff who have volunteered their free time on Sunday to work this event, as we honor the allotted two tickets per graduate for entrance to the gymnasium.

Students wearing white gowns do not need to wear white clothing underneath.
Students should remove their caps and gowns from their bags and hang them from a hanger to remove creases. Do not iron the gowns.
