About the District
Vaccination Clinic at NHS Cafeteria
Clinics will be in the cafeteria at Norwood High School. Please enter at the rear of the building through door 14. This clinic is open to school staff, students, families, and community members. Insurance is required.
School Health Services, in partnership with Shaw's/Star Market Pharmacy, will be hosting these vaccine clinics. The following vaccines will be available:
- Flu shots for individuals age 3 and older. The high-dose vaccine will be available for those over 65 years of age.
- The 2024-2025 updated COVID-19 booster. Recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older. These school clinics will only be available for students aged 3 years and older. If your child is not immunized or partially immunized, you should consult their pediatrician for best recommendations for your child.
- RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) Recommended for those over 60 years old
- Pneumonia Recommended for those 65 and older
- Shingrix (Shingles) Recommended for those age 50 and older
- MenQuadfi (meningococcal) required for school attendance in grades 7 & 11.
