On Monday, March 21 at 7:00-7:45 PM, there was a community-wide Google Meet presentation on Norwood’s Student Opportunities Act (SOA) Plan presented by Dr. Alec Wyeth, Assistant Superintendent.
Please click this link for the Norwood Public Schools Student Opportunities Act (SOA) Plan as required by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The purpose of our SOA Plan is to ensure that every student in Norwood experiences high-quality learning opportunities that lead to success in school and in postsecondary plans. Our SOA plan specifically targets closing the learning gaps of our High Needs students and focuses on four key target areas that will be integrated into our District Strategic Plan for the next several years. At the end of the slide deck, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on this plan and we welcome your input.
