INTRAMURAL SPORTS:

Current Spring Intramural Sports at Coakley Middle School:

Grades 5 and 6 Soccer:  Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/6/26 until 5/18/26.  There are 40 spots available.  First come, first served.  Cost $45.00.

Grades 7 and 8 Soccer:  Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/8/26 until 5/20/26.  There are 60 spots available.  First come, first served.  Cost $45.00.

Grades 5 and 6 Flag Football:  Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/6/26 until 5/18/26.  There are 25 spots available.  First come, first served.  Cost $45.00.

Grades 7 and 8 Flag Football:  Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/6/26 until 5/18/26.  There are 25 spots available.  First come, first served.  Cost $45.00. 

Grades 7 and 8 Whipple Ball:  Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/8/26 until 5/20/26.  There are 20 spots available.  First come, first served.  Cost $45.00.

All Grades Running Club:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM for 12 sessions and will start 4/7/26 until 5/21/26.

All Spring Sports:  Students will meet in the gym before going outside.  Cost $45.00.  Checks should be made payable to Coakley Middle School.  Sign-Ups are through Parent Square under the post titled Winter Intramural Sports.  Financial Assistance is available.  Please contact Dr. Fraczek.  Please send in the check with an envelope and write the student's name and the sport on the memo line.  Please bring the payment the first day of the sport and give it to Coach Gearty.  Any questions contact mpgearty@norwood.k12.ma.us.

Grade 5 Running Club run by Connor O'Sullivan - Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:40 - 4:15 PM - 12 sessions 9/15/25 to 10/27/25.

Grade 5 Girls on the Run - Julia Ficco - Mondays and Wednesdays - Meet at Room 140 - Picked up 4:30 PM at the drop off loop.

Volleyball - 5th and 6th Grade - Mike Gearty - Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM.

Tennis - CANCELLED - First 20 students who registered able to play:  Open to All Grades and is run by varsity boys and girls high school coaches on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 - 4:15 PM starting 9/16/25 - 10/23/25.

Floor Hockey - 5th and 6th Grade - 2/23/26 to 3/31/26 - 12 sessions - Mondays and Tuesdays - 3:30 - 4:10 PM - in the gym - 60 spots - first come, first served - Cost $45.

Floor Hockey - 7th and 8th Grade - 2/25/26 - 4/2/26 - 12 sessions - Wednesdays and Thursdays - 3:30 - 4:10 PM - in the gym - 60 spots - first come, first served - Cost $45.

Fitness Club - 7th and 8th Grade - Tuesdays and Thursdays - 12 sessions - 3:30 - 4:10 PM - in the Weight Room until 4/2/26 - FREE - 30 spots available - first come, first served.

Dance Class - Ms. Gilbert -  All Grades - Tuesdays for 12 sessions - 3:30 - 4:10 PM - in Black Box Theater -  starting on 4/24/26 and running until 6/2/26 - Cost $45.
