Intramural Sports and Clubs

INTRAMURAL SPORTS COORDINATOR:  Joshua Bell - jbell@norwood.k12.ma.us

MIAA SPORTS:

Cross Country -  Head Coach Terence Martin, Asst. Coach Joe McDonagh, Practice twice a week, Meets once a week.

Volleyball - Head Coack Mike Gearty - Practices Mondays and Wednesday 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM.  Games two times per week.  Last game Tuesday, October 29th.

Wrestling - 

INTRAMURAL SPORTS:

Current sport at Coakley Middle School:

Basketball - Runs Mondays and Wednesdays 1/13/25 - 3/3/25 - 3:30 PM - 4:10 PM.  Cost:  $45.00.

Tennis - Practice is Tuesdays and Thursdays 9/17/24 - 10/24/24 - 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM.  $45 per student.  

Floor Hockey - 

CLUBS:

Friendship Club -  Mrs. Forrest and Mrs. Kimball - Starting 9/30 in Room 100.

School Council - 

Student Council - Mrs. Thomason and Mrs. Bayiates - Wednesdays - Starting 9/25 in Room M4.

Yearbook Club - Grade 8 Only - Mrs. Arone and Ms. Levitt - Starting 9/30 in Room 202 - Meets every other Monday.

Homework Club - 

Comic and Cartooning Club - Mr. Andrews - Starting 10/17/24 in Room 105 - Meets on Thursdays.

Drama Club - Mr. Little - Begins week of 10/2 - Auditorium - Meets weekly.

Art Club - Deb Harding - First Meeting October 8th.  Meets the second Tuesday of the month - Sign ups September 23 - 27.

Book Club - Meets in the Library on Thursdays,

Honor Choir - Mrs. Sheehan - First Meeting Tuesday September 24th.  Meets every Tuesday and Wednesday after school until 4:10 PM.

Jazz Band - Mr. Stone - Rehearsals 5:30 - 7:00 PM Thursdays in the Auditorium - begins October 10. 

Video Production Club - Mr. Sleeman - Meets every Tuesday in the Cafeteria.

Dungeons and Dragons Club - Mr. Sleeman - Meets every Monday in the Cafeteria.

National Junior Honor Society - Mrs. Arone - Begins October 1st.

Mural Club - Ms. Swanson - Begins 1/9/25.
