The Coakley Middle School Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2016. The evening will begin at 6:15 in the auditorium with a brief presentation by the principal.
On Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. the PTO will be sponsoring an ice cream social for incoming 6th graders and new students in the CMS Cafeteria. Student Mentors will be available to give tours and parents will have an opportunity to meet the members of our CMS Administrative Team.
Letters regarding team placement will be sent home on August 24th. Any information found on IParent has not been finalized.
Dr. Gandhi shared lots of information with our 6th grade Health class about the anatomy of a tooth, proper brushing and flossing skills, and sealants, along with information about protecting your teeth by wearing mouth guards during sports activity. Click headline for more information and pictures!

The CMS PTO is sponsoring a fundraiser at Laser Quest on Monday, February 8th from 6:00pm-8:30pm (NO SCHOOL FEBRAURY 9TH-PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT). Click the headline for details.
The CMS Math Team is having a fundraiser witht the support of Bertucci's of Norwood. When you present the flyer on November 10th from 3-8pm, 15% of your order will be donated to the Math Team. Click the headline for the flyer.
The 8th Grade Trip to Thompson Island will be taking place again this June. There will be an information session on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. for parents to hear about the program from members of the Thompson Island staff, and ask questions.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are sheduled for November 10th and 12th from 6-8pm as well as on November 13th, which is an early release day, from 12-2pm.
The school dentist, Dr. Mark Stone, D.M.D will be in our building on September 30th and October 2nd to perform dental screenings. This service is available to Norwood school children grades 1-6. For details click the headline.
Come join the principal, Jackie Mann, and the assistant principals Brian Scully and Deborah Romeo in the CMS library on Wednesday, August 19th from 6-7pm for a tour of the building and attend the first PTO meeting of the year at 7pm which will include a presentation by the Administrative team The Meet and Greet scheduled for Tuesday, August 18th is cancelled and now rescheduled for Thursday, August 27 from 8-9am and tour the building from 9-9:30am.
Due to road work around the building the front entrance will be closed beginning Thursday, August 6, 2015. Please enter the building by through Door 14 by the tennis courts. Thank you for your cooperation.
