Transition Programs
There are several programs throughout the year that aim to help support grade 8 students in their transition to Norwood High School. Below is a list of those programs and when they will be occurring:
- Freshman/New Student Orientation - Late August, 2017 (exact details to follow)
- 8th Grade Curriculum Night & Open House - January, 2018
- 8th Grade Step-Up Day - June, 2018
- Student Shadow Program - This is an ongoing program that allows future NHS students to shadow current NHS students in order to better acquaint themselves to Norwood High School. Please contact Kristen McDonnell, Head of Guidance, if interested (781-352-3516 or email).
