Substance Abuse
The issues of substance abuse and addiction have featured prominently in the local, State and National news. Norwood is not immune from these issues. Signs and symptoms of substance use include:
Change in personality, moodiness or extreme irritability
- Loss of interest in activities and friends that were once enjoyed
- Isolation or withdrawl to bedroom or bathroom
- Stealing money or possessions
- Missing prescription drugs or bottles of alcohol
- Changes in sleep patterns
School nurses and guidance counselors are available in all Norwood Public Schools to speak with you about support and resources if you or a loved one is in need.
